Do you ever feel like you are stuck in the middle of the week? I feel like my weekends have been and will be filled with awesome stuff and Wednesday just feels so far from both! Right now I am smack dab in between Easter and Fruita!
First off, last night I thought I was got to die! Okay...maybe not really, but my head felt like it was going to explode. I was convinced I had a sinus infection. It sure felt like one! On our way home, Ken and I stopped at Walmart to pick up some cool things-like a solar shower-for this weekend. While we were there I also got some allergy/sinus headache meds. Now, don't get me wrong, I try NOT to take anything at all costs-but I was miserable. I also got a nasal rinse kit (which may feel like you jumped into a pool without holding your nose) that I could possible be in love with. I do NOT love it WHILE I am doing it, but I DO love it when I am finished! After popping a pill and an hour in my house I felt fine. Not to mention Ken got dinner ready and took excellent care of me!
When I woke up this morning I felt GREAT! No sinus pressure, no runny nose, no nothing. HEALED! Or so I thought. After a couple of hours of being in and out of the car, I was once again consumed by pressure and a runny nose. So, through logic, I have determined that I am allergic to the outside world. Not cool! This should make spring time running challenging. Anyone have a good allergy med that they use? OTC preferably!
In other randomness, I have an easy 5 miler today. Looking forward to some miles!
As for this weekend.....

We are heading to the Rabbit Valley Rally! Errin and I are working on coordinating food and camp gear. It will be Jasper's first camping trip....and mine in a long time. I am pretty excited! The guys will be racing Sunday (Colin's birthday-he likes to race next to events....birthdays, weddings...you know). Hoping for good weather so we don't blow away or drown in our tent! Dreaming of things more exciting than Wednesdays.....
So sorry you've got allergies, but glad you're finding things to combat it!
ReplyDeleteHave a WONDERFUL weekend! (Praying for good weather!)
